This is important to me as I have high arches so I really need that extra support. The blue padding on the front of the insert is fine, although not quite as soft as the heal padding, probably because it is much thinner. Trimming to whatever size you need is very easy with a pair of scissors. What I don't like: This is the reason I took off a star, the cost. The sneakers I'll be putting these in cost less than these inserts. Why are they so expensive? You can get similar products for half this cost. Overall I think they are good inserts. If they cost in the $30 dollar range or less, I would have given them 5 stars. Despite giving them a 4 star review, I would look elsewhere for similar but more reasonably priced inserts.

These insoles fit into my 9-9.5 (average width) shoes perfectly. I did not need to trim the insoles at all. They fit without any wrinkles or creasing. There wasn't any strange chemical or plastic odor. They provide a significant amount of arch support, which I need. They do not provide a cushy, soft feeling but for me, they work well. I have worn these two different days and don't have my usual pain in the soles of my feet, my ankles, and my knees. They appear to be very good quality and I expect them to last awhile. These are pricier than many insoles, but to me they are worth it if they last as long as I expect them to.
